Drug Court participants host 3 on 3 tournament

Elmore County Drug Court requires its participants to perform a community service project in order to graduate from the program. This is just one of the many ways the program helps drug offenders become a part of their community.

According the Idaho Supreme Court problem solving courts, like drug court, divert non-violent, substance abusing offenders from prison and jail into treatment. By increasing direct supervision, coordinating public resources and expediting case processing. These courts help break the cycle of criminal behavior, alcohol and drug abuse and incarceration.
