DRIVERS LICENSE OFFICES CLOSURES

Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is launching a new computer program for the driver’s license system. The expected “Go-Live” date is scheduled for August 13, 2018. Employees are training to learn the new system so there will be closures in the Mountain Home and Glenns Ferry offices as they train. Also, the driver’s license system will be down statewide August 9th & 10th, 2018 for the program installation. Dates as follows:

Mountain Home Office will be closed on Aug 7th, 9th &10th

Glenns Ferry Office will be closed on Aug 8th, 9th & 10th

When the new system goes live August 13th and for the following week or two, the wait time will be lengthy as clerks adjust to using the new program. Please avoid going to the driver’s license office during that time if possible. Any questions or concerns may be addressed to ITD at 208-334-8735.
