WECRD Recieves Offer on Railroad Park from City

The WECRD held it's monthly meeting on July 25 and Mayor Rich Sykes was in attendance to give an official offer for Railroad Park from the City of Mountain Home. The mayor had previously gotten approval from City Council to make an offer to the recreation district at their next board meeting.

As the meeting began board member Doug Meyer motioned to move the sale of Railroad Park to the top of the agenda to accommodate the mayor. Mayor Sykes offered the WECRD $100,000 for the park and said that the city would immediately take over maintenance and watering of the park upon completion of the contract.
