City Council Meets With WECRD

Thursday, August 2, 2018

The Mountain Home City Council met on July 23 at City Hall to meet with the WECRD and to discuss ordinances, contracts, and lease agreements. The first topic of discussion was a possible deal with WECRD for Railroad Park.

President of the WECRD Dan Gillies and board member Doug Meyer were in attendance to speak about the issue with the council.

Councilman Matt Bundy was the first to offer input. He felt the best scenario for the city would be to maintain the park and own it. For the full story, pick up a copy of the Mountain Home News or click on this link to subscribe to the newspaper's online edition.
