This month in history: 100 years ago this week we were at war and every part of daily life was impacted

During WWI, the United States made major contributions to the Allied Powers including supplies, raw material, and money along with supporting it's own involvement in the war.

This brought shortages and rations to the people of the United States in an effort to keep as many supplies and materials with the military as possible in its quest for victory.
