WECRD gives updates on Plans for a Pool and fate of Railroad Park

Saturday, July 7, 2018

The monthly WECRD meeting began by discussing treasury reports and possible changes to certain budget lines. The board discussed possibly paying for subscriptions to the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce as well as Military Affairs for another source of marketing on top of using the Mountain Home News.

Director Lee Pierce also discussed his wishes to purchase presentation tools for meetings including a digital camcorder so meetings can be streamed online. He requested $600 for a camcorder that the rec district could used for this purpose.

They hope to have floor plans for the recreation building by Air Force Appreciation Day and are hoping to have a booth at the event to hand out flyers giving the community more information on the project.
