Stephensen Elementary Presents the Oscars

On May 18th, students, parents, and community members gathered in the Stephensen Elementary gym to honor students who reached their reading goal in the third annual OSCAR ceremony. Students came dressed in their best to receive their very own Oscar trophy.

At the beginning of the school year, third and fourth grade students are presented with a reading challenge, the OSCARs (Our Students Can be Amazing Readers). The challenge is to read 20 books for third grade and 26 books for fourth grade during the school year.
