Planning and Zoning holds hearing on women's retreat

The Elmore County Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing for a conditional use permit for Jennifer Loranger who wants to use undeveloped property off of Highway 20 as a women's retreat for the empowerment of women and children.

The property which is located up near Dixie Cutoff road would only be used on the weekends. There will be no permanent structures on the property and the group would bring in portable restroooms and their own water supply and will host around ten to twelve people at a time.
