The City of Mountain Home and the Idaho Department of Transportation held an open house on May 1 to unveil plans for the future growth of the area with two studies looking at traffic flow now and in the future.

The studies looked at a 20-year span focusing on the projected outlook for the area in 2045 and took eight months to complete.

One of the studies focused on the need for replacement designs of interchanges on I-84 at Exits 90, 95 and 99.

The second study looked at access on U.S. Highway 20 and American Legion Boulevard between North East Reservoir Road and 18th East Street. For the full story, pick up a copy of the Mountain Home News or click on this link to subscribe to the newspaper's online edition.
