Father/daughter dance in full swing

Music roars and children cover the gymnasium floor, joined by their fathers for an energetic dance.

Energetic children raced inside as music poured from the doors of the gym. Those who weren't racing were patiently waiting to have their picture taken, or were enjoying an Italian dinner.

While the music roared, though, parents couldn't help but be dragged onto the dance floor by a persistent toddler or a teenager begging to dance.

As part of the evening, attendees of the father/daughter dance enjoyed an Italian dinner complete with pasta, garlic bread and a dessert of their choice. Janet Webb, left, spent her evening serving food and overseeing the festivities.
