Dominating at State Speech...

Members of the Talkin' Tigers travelled to Rexburg April 12-14 to compete in State Speech, many of whom were freshmen. Mountain Home's team finished fourth overall at state, missing out on third place by one point. Individual members of the team did very well. Dante Haeberle, one of two seniors at the state competition, finished second in Oratorical Analysis. Lexi Ogaard, the second senior, placed sixth in Dramatic Interpretation. Ogaard and Bryanna Strom competed together in Duo Interpretation, finishing as semi finalists. The other two semi finalists were Max Juarez in Humorous Interpretation and Kiara Rockins in Program of Oral Interpretation. Other members who qualified for state were Chase Olvis, Ashley Peace, Casen Kriebs, Miya Ingram and Oam Patel.
