Success at State FFA

Friday, April 13, 2018
Members of the Mountain Home High School Future Farmers of America chapter competed at the Idaho FFA State Leadership Conference, where students were able to attend sessions with keynote speakers, watch rounds of speech events and visit a dairy to learn about electronic cow trackers and milk production.

Katie Corder, Shaleah Lasuen, Liz Bearden and Elisa Agner pose with their FFA advisor Kya Vines (middle). These four team members made up MHHS' Horse Evaluation Career Development team, and took seventh out of 56 teams in the state. "Placing top 10 for their first year in competition is truly a sucess," Vines said.
