Carolyn Larson

Carolyn Rae Larson, 83, of Grand View, was taken home to be with her Lord on Oct. 22, 2017.

She was born in Nampa, Idaho and raised on a cattle ranch near Garden Valley called, The Lazy J Ranch. She was the Snake River Stampede Rodeo Queen in 1951.

One of Carolyn’s loves was performing in numerous country western groups that performed throughout the US and Canada. She was still performing up to the time of her passing. Her different jobs were: bookkeeping, legal secretary and Real Estate Broker with her mother. The most recent job being the Coordinator at the Rimrock Senior Center in Grand View.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Ray Patterson and her husband Robert Larson.

Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Knight Community Church in Grand View on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
