Her quilt shop features five permanent stations, dedicated design walls and so much more.

About 50 years ago, a 10-year-old girl gathered pieces of fabric and turned it into the first outfit she ever made for herself - a dress.

As simple as that moment may seem, that day sparked a fascination within her, and thus her journey began.

Pat Smith may not have lived in Mountain Home her whole life, but she and her band of quilters give back to the community every chance they get.
