Bicyclist collides with a Public Works dump truck

On Aug. 31, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Mountain Home Police was dispatched to the intersection of North 10th East St. and East 10th North St. regarding a collision between a bicyclist and a Public Works dump truck.

According to an Idaho State Police officer, the bicyclist, Juan Carlos Vasquez, failed to yield at the intersection, running into the back of the dump truck and was caught underneath the wheels. The driver. John Harwood, promptly pulled over and performed CPR, reviving Carlos Vasquez before EMTs arrived on scene.
