Burglary suspect arrested

An Arizona man was arrested June 21 in connection with an attempted vehicle burglary in the King Hill area in addition to stealing two vehicles.

Robert Valenzuela, 42, from Mesa, Ariz., was booked into the Elmore County Jail on charges of grand theft, receiving or transferring stolen vehicles and multiple counts of burglary.

Sheriff's deputies were notified around 11 a.m. that morning about an attempted vehicle break-in. As deputies were responding, an eyewitness reported the intruder had broken into her vehicle and ransacked the glove box before attempting to steal the car.
