Megan Nichole Pederson Erickson, 29, of Boise, passed away, June 23, 2017, in a tragic auto accident near Burley, Idaho. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser, Idaho immediately following services. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Megan was born, Jan. 26, 1988, to Kenneth and Frances Pederson (Martinez) in Mountain Home, Idaho. Megan graduated from Mountain Cove High School in Boise.

Megan had a love of family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She also had a compassion for animals and a love of the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing and archery.

She enjoyed life as a whole and a good movie. She was a manager at a Stinker store in Boise. In Megan’s short 29 years, she touched many people’s lives with her sparkling personality and love of life. She always had a smile on her face and always made time to visit. She was a great support to both family and friends.

Her number one priority was always her girls and giving them both care and adoration.

Megan is survived by her father, Kenneth, and step mother, Tearria Pederson; her mother, Frances Martinez and step father Terry Puckett; grandmothers Helen Pederson and Mary Crawford; two daughters, Dakota Erickson, age 8, and Isabella Johns, age 1; her siblings, Maria and Julia Martinez, Garrett, Cory, Ashley and Jesse Pederson, Breanna and Cody Seeley; and by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Megan is preceded in death by her grandfathers Ken Pederson and Chester Crawford, and two uncles, David and Wayne Nino.
