Billie "Bill" Ray Arrington's courageous battle with cancer ended on June 20, 2017. Bill slipped peacefully away at his home in King Hill surrounded by loved ones.

Bill was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Twin Falls to Omer and Carol Byington Arrington. Bill was the oldest of four children.

He spent his younger years in the Bellevue area at Muldoon Canyon and always remarked how he loved the area. He attended schools in Bellevue and Buhl.

He married Lorena Jones and they welcomed two daughters, Shawna and Carla. They later divorced. Bill married Bev Allen in Elko, Nev., on June 1, 1985. Bill’s youngest daughter, Andrea, was born in 1986.

Bill was always a hard worker and held many jobs in his younger years. He moved from the Buhl area to work for Jim Schrader at Grindstone Butte.

He began working for the Glenns Ferry Highway District in 1982 and retired December 2014. His road grader skills were well known around the region.

Bill is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bev; his daughters, Shawna Arrington, Carla Arrington and Andrea Fabregas and her husband, Mike; his mother, Carol (Harold) Drussell; brothers Mike (Barbara) Arrington and Kyle (Barbie) Arrington and sister Christy (Jess) Southwick. He is also survived by his grandsons, Destry Marsing, James Marsing, Hunter Cook, Kaylob Cook, Gavin Fabregas, Gage Fabregas, Zane Fabregas and Dagen Fabregas; granddaughter Saje Arrington and one great-grandson; mother in-law Betty Allen; brothers in-law Rick (Sharon) Allen, Jody (Cynthia) Allen and Buddy (Patti) Allen; sister in-law Bonnie (David) Bird; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Omer Arrington, and father in-law Bud Allen.

We will miss his sweet smile and good heart. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.

The family would like to thank the staff at MSTI for their caring support. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
