Church facelift

Bryan Wilson applies a fresh coat of paint to the exterior walls of the Amazing Grace Church as worked continued May 31 to renovate the worship center on Airbase Road. Wilson was one of 15 people that traveled from Peerless Road Church in Cleveland, Tenn., last week to make a number of improvements to the church. Along with repainting the building's exterior for the first time since 1984, the members of the church added walls to add a conversation area next to the main worship area along with adding in a fellowship hall. The members of the Tennessee church chose to visit their "sister church" in Mountain Home as part of a national church project. Each year, they select similar churches across the United States and overseas to conduct similar outreach efforts.
