Lieutenant governor airs issues affecting state

Improvements to public education, providing better access to health care and fostering economic growth represent some of the greatest challenges currently facing communities across the state, according to Idaho's lieutenant governor.

During a sit-down interview with the Mountain Home News last month, Brad Little highlighted some of the obstacles affecting these efforts and what work remains to encourage people to remain here.

"We want the kids that are here to come back," Little said. "Many of them have left for some good reasons. They needed a skill they needed to develop somewhere else."
