The social and emotional implications of transition for military-connected students will be the focus of a professional development course scheduled for today and Thursday in Mountain Home.

Parents, professionals and interested adults are invited to participate in the Supporting Military Children through School Transitions: Social/Emotional Institute program, which runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge, 325 South 3rd West St.
