William "Bill, Chip" E. Hunnicutt Jr. was born Dec. 20, 1959. He died April 9, 2017, from injuries he sustained during a farm equipment accident on March 30, 2017.

Bill was born and raised in southern Idaho where he met and married his best friend, Terri Swinney. Together, they moved to the Willamette Valley in the spring of 1989.

Here, they raised two daughters while he built his name and business as a Master Agriculture Equipment Mechanic. Over 27 years in the industry here in the Willamette Valley, he built many friendships that reach well beyond just his work.

In the mid 90s, he began team roping and while developing his roping skills he gained life-long friends that he was proud to think of as family. In the fall 2006, his mom and dad joined him and Terri here in Molalla.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Terri Hunnicutt; his dad and mom, Dale and Mary Estes; his siblings, Dale Hunnicutt, Brian Hunnicutt, Dale Ray Estes, and Terry Widner; his daughters, Annie Weishan (age 31) and Courtney Hunnicutt (age 25); two young grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, William E. Hunnicutt Sr., and brother Dale Richard Estes.

A memorial service will be held in Molalla, Ore., on Saturday, April 22, at noon at The Foothills Community Church.

Donations to the family can be made through Cindy's Cafe, P. O. Box 817, Molalla, OR, 97038.
