Commission votes to cut building permit fees

In a move seldom seen in politics, the Elmore County board of commissioners voted to cut back on fees charged by the county's land use and building department with many of them slashed by at least half.

The commissioners moved to reduce these fees to encourage economic development in the county as they met on Friday.
