Marion was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, to Samuel and Alta (Tonge) Clark. Marion was the oldest of six children. Their family moved to Idaho in the mid 1940s.

Marion married James Grimmett on Dec. 31, 1949, in Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho. Their children, Linda, James and Ann, were born in Pocatello. Jim and Marion moved to Mountain Home in 1954 where Joseph, Wayne, Wally, Scott and Donna were born.

She and Jim were soul mates. You seldom saw one without the other and they never missed an opportunity to hold hands or exchange a kiss with a twinkle in their eyes.

Marion's passions were her family and serving others. She loved sharing her testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with the Primary children she taught at church.

Marion was a wonderful cook and loved gathering family and friends for special occasions. Her apple pie was a family favorite.

She enjoyed music, quilting, great friends and camping. She and Jim enjoyed working in their yard and garden together. Jim often brought her fresh cut flowers from their garden.

Her husband of 54 years, her parents, her sisters Emma and Barbara, her brother Jack, her grandson Andrew, and great-grandsons Kaden and Elliott preceded Marion in death.

Marion is survived by her children Linda Wortham (Robert) of Mountain Home; James Grimmett (Joann) of Mountain Home; Ann Dodge (James) of Lebanon, Ore.; Joseph Grimmett (Cindy) of Twin Falls, Idaho; Wayne Grimmett (Marie) of Mountain Home, Idaho; Wally Grimmett (Lola) of Sunsui City, Calif.; Scott Grimmett (Ilda) of Reno, Nev.; and Donna Ash (Phillip) of Kimberly, Idaho; her brother Samuel Clark (Pattie) of Pennsylvania; her sister, Evelyn Henderson (Fred) of Kemmerer, Wyo.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Dr. Baldridge and angels at the Long Term Care Unit for providing Marion with loving care.
