Serving up a fresh alternative

Jeff Moss and LeAnn Kibe, owners of the Apple Barrel Deli and Bakery, are joined by employee Kelsey Kibe along with Mayor Rich Sykes and local chamber representatives as the owners prepares to cut the ribbon to their business during a grand opening ceremony on Feb. 23. Located at 344 North 2nd East St., the Apple Barrel serves up a full line of freshly made sandwiches, soups and sweets. The deli opens from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 599-4791.
