Council debates plans regarding liquor licenses

Issues with the number of available liquor licenses in Mountain Home and the option to purchase one of them took center stage as the city council met Feb. 27.

As the council addressed new business that evening, city economic development director Paula Riggs introduced a proposal that would allow the council to vote on a plan to buy a hard liquor licence that will be coming up for sale.
