Changing of the guard Elmore County welcomes its new sheriff, prosecutor

County commissioner Bud Corbus administers the oath of office to Mike Hollinshead during a ceremony on Monday. Hollinshead became Elmore County's first new sheriff in three decades.

Family, friends and co-workers packed into the commissioners' chambers at the Elmore County Courthouse on Monday to welcome the county's new sheriff and prosecuting attorney.

As he took the oath of office, Daniel Page took over as the county's prosecuting attorney while Mike Hollinshead became the county's first new sheriff in 30 years.
