'Hoop shoot' set for Jan. 7

Students from the Mountain Home area will put their basketball skills to the test on Saturday during this year's hoop shoot competition.

Hosted by Mountain Home Elks Lodge and held at Mountain Home Junior High School, the competition starts at 9 a.m. and requires participants to sink free throws with the hoop distance shortened for younger participants.
