Water, wastewater rates to increase

Water and wastewater rates in Mountain Home are set to increase slightly in the new year after the city council moved to approve the fee increases during a meeting Dec. 12.

The approved fees are based on a tiered approach, starting with a base rate of $19.25 per month for the first 5,000 gallons used by local customers, starting March 1.
