City police honor student for helping lost child

It was standing-room-only during a city council meeting Nov. 14 in which local officials paused to honor a local student and the city council listened to some younger citizens on their ideas to improve the community.

Caden Taylor, a 12 year-old student from Hacker Middle School, was honored with an outstanding service award for his efforts to help reunite a lost child with her family.
