Preparing for college

Mary Kaye Johnson, a counselor at Bennett Mountain High School, helps senior Seth Meeks apply to attend Boise State University while fellow students Bailey Graham, Nate Dietrich and Trevor Marrs apply to other colleges and universities during an event that began Oct. 31. As part of Idaho's college access initiative, the faculty at the alternative high school worked with their seniors to help them complete and submit at least one application to a college or university. The goal was to get more students in the Mountain Home area applying to colleges and universities early in their senior year of school.
