Aaron Ray Fennel, 53 of Mountain Home, died Oct. 28, 2016, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. A memorial service is being planned for Sunday. Please contact Katie at 208-697-0314 or Adam at 337-207-0012 for the place and time.

Cremation is under the care and direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel at 500 North 18 East St. in Mountain Home.

Aaron was born Oct. 5, 1963, in Susanville, Calif., to Donald and Allonna "Lonny" (Bruffett) Fennel.

In 1982, Aaron graduated from Mountain Home High School, where he enjoyed wrestling and spending time with his "buddies." He then went to work for the Idaho State Penitentiary, where he worked for 17 years.

Aaron married Tawnya Jewell, and they had their daughter, Kathryn, who got along great with her older brothers, Adam and Chris.

Aaron was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting with his grandchildren. He was the happiest in the great outdoors and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Don and Lonny Fennel of Mountain Home; son Christopher Ray Tingle-Key and his children Oneleigh and Wyatt of Spokane, Wash.; son Adam Ray Fennel of New Mexico; son Christopher Bowman of Mountain Home; son Scotty Hurd of Boise; daughter Kathryn Ruby Fennel (Paul Carpentier) and their children, Kassidy, Rhyan, Remington and Rachelle; and his brother, Adam Fennel, all of Mountain Home; his sister, Ada Fennel-Miller of Boise; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Opal Fennel and Mikey and Harley Bruffett.

Aaron was an amazing man who loved those who were close to him. He will be terribly missed. Until we all meet again! We love you!
