Tina Brown

Tina Brown, beloved daughter, sister, girlfriend, mom, auntie, Granny and friend, passed away quietly in her sleep to be in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father at the age of 53 on Oct. 25, 2016.

Tina was born in California to Norman and Patricia Kibe. She grew up in Mountain Home, Idaho.

Tina was an amazing woman. She raised her two boys on her own while working two jobs. She had many jobs in her life, night stocker at Paul's Market, roofed houses with her dad, store clerk and bar manager just to mention a few. Whatever the job was, she put her whole heart into it and did the best she could, which was always amazing.

Anyone that knew Tina knows how amazing she was. She had a personality like no one else. She could always make people laugh and feel good after being with her.

She was also a very generous woman. She didn't have a lot, but she would offer everything she had to help another in need.

Tina had many passions. From a young age, she was in church and would tell everyone about God. She had amazing talent at connecting with people and leading them to God. She taught children's Sunday school and choir. She would play guitar and sing beautifully, always making it fun.

Tina was also a very crafty person. She could sew anything from nothing, and it would be amazing -- clothes, baby bibs, blankets, dolls, sock puppets and purses. Literally anything.

In 2009, Tina got involved with the American Legion Auxiliary and was active in Post 101. Tina was the President of the auxiliary, bar manager and bartender. She would also fill in anywhere she was needed. Tina had dedicated her life to the Auxiliary until she got sick.

Tina always baked cookies and zucchini bread, peanut brittle, etc. She loved to give baked goods to anyone willing to eat them. She also loved to dress up for kids birthday parties as Dora, a ballerina and a clown. She was always willing to be silly to make a kid or anyone for that matter smile.

Tina filled our hearts with love and warmth. When she passed away, she left a hole in our hearts and our lives. She will be greatly missed.

Tina was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother, Patricia; and her brother, David. She is survived by her dad, Norman; two brothers, Frank and Howard; two sisters, Sherry and Lu Ella; two sons, Corey and Joshua; her grandson, Thorren; plus many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks if any donations are to be made to please send to Rost Funeral Home for helping with the price of a marker for Tina.

Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, 500 North 18th East St., Mountain Home, ID 83647.
