Halloween carnival planned

The Super Safe Halloween carnival brings together hundreds of people each year.

Ghosts, ghouls and an assortment of heroes and villains are expected to gather at Hacker Middle School on Oct. 31 for fun and candy during this year's Super Safe Halloween Carnival.

The city's parks and recreation department will host this year's carnival, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. that evening in the Hacker Middle School gymnasium.
