Blood tests offered during this year's community health fair can check for cholesterol and A1c levels in addition to thyroid hormone levels. However, medical officials require participants to fast a minimum of 12 hours before having their blood drawn.

St. Luke's Elmore Center for Community Health will host its annual Health and Wellness Day from 7 to 11 a.m. Oct. 22 at North Elementary School, 290 East 12th North St., in Mountain Home.
