Stop the racial harassment

Wednesday, October 5, 2016

Dear editor,

I am the grandmother of a student at Mountain Home High. I am outraged at the removal of Tamia Williams' art from the school parking lot. Tamia got permission to display her beautiful painting, that of a young black woman, there.

This whole thing blew up because Tamia, a minor, and her family were being cyber-bullied and racially harassed online -- a clear violation of her civil rights. The racists actions on the parking lot itself and nearby were also disgraceful.

These bullies should have been immediately shut down by authorities, and all the paintings should have remained.

Sincerely,
