Spooktacular' contest set

In the spirit of Halloween, the Mountain Home News hosts its annual "Spooktacular" contest to find the best-decorated home or business in town.

The newspaper will award goodie baskets to the overall winners for the best indoor and outdoor designs.

People interested in entering the contest are asked to submit the address of their home or business by contacting the newspaper at 587-3331 or via e-mail at typesetting@mountainhomenews.com.

Entries are due by noon Oct. 14 with individuals invited to submit photos of their entries, which will then be posted in the newspaper and online at www.mountainhomenews.com as well as the newspaper's Facebook page.

Open judging begins Oct. 19 with the winners announced in the newspaper and on its Facebook page on Oct. 26.
