AFAD officials welcome Gunfighters in sky

F-15E Strike Eagles from Mountain Home Air Force Base are scheduled to fly over the city Saturday morning to mark the start of this year's Air Force Appreciation Day parade.

Air Force Appreciation Day is expected to see a slight break in tradition on Saturday after senior officials at Mountain Home Air Force Base requested a change in the parade lineup.

The community's largest celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. that day as F-15E Strike Eagles from the base soar over the town to officially mark the beginning of the yearly parade.
