Under construction

Steve Wydler from Ytuarte Construction uses a Fresno trowel to smooth out the new slab of concrete in front of the Mountain Home News building last week as work continued on sidewalks in the city's downtown area. In a continuing effort to bring the sidewalks into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the city and local urban renewal agency teamed up pay for the construction of more than a dozen curb ramps. The construction crew is completing one of the new ADA-compliant ramps per day.
