WECRD recall falls short

County officials announced Tuesday morning that a recall petition seeking to unseat Art Nelson and Judy Mayne as directors of the Western Elmore County Recreation District didn't have enough validated signatures.

On April 18, former recreation district secretary Betty Ashcraft filed two sets of paperwork with county officials to recall Nelson and Mayne.

Ok by my count that is twice the people have spoken so maybe past issues can be put aside and all work to make our community better.
