One dead, one injured in watercraft collision

One teen was killed and another injured in a watercraft accident Saturday afternoon on Anderson Ranch Reservoir.

Terex Hatfield of Twin Falls was riding a jet ski with a passenger when it was struck by a second jet ski near Fall Creek Lodge.

According to Deputy Laytreda Schultz from the Elmore County Sheriff's Department Marine Division, the jet skis were operating too close to one another before they collided.

Hatfield was pronounced dead at the scene with the other teen flown by air ambulance to a hospital in Boise with non-life threatening injuries.

The other involved in the accident wasn't injured.
