Water district group meets

Mountain Home Area Water District 161 held its first meeting June 28.

Held at a local hotel, the meeting included about 80 residents and two Idaho Department of Water Resources officials.

The purpose of the meeting was to elect a district watermaster, appoint seven advisory committee members and approve a host of proposed district resolutions.
