Report: County arrests up, overall crime down

The crime rate in Mountain Home and Elmore County fell in 2015 while the number of people arrested in connection with reported crimes increased over that 12-month period, according to a yearly report from the Idaho State Police.

Released earlier this month, the report includes a synopsis of crime statistics gathered from 108 law enforcement agencies across the state and includes data from the Mountain Home Police Department and Elmore County Sheriff's Department.
