Stan Cole

Stanley Grant Cole, age 85 of Bruneau, passed away at his home, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. A celebration of his life potluck will be held at Black Sands Resort at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Stan was born April 17, 1931, in Fargo, N.D., and raised in Cogswell, N.D., the son of Roy and Olga Cole. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He retired 20 years later at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

Stan played hard and worked hard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a lifelong fan of the 49ers Football and the Giants Baseball.

Stan is survived by his five daughters, Lotus, Karen, Susa, Cynthia and Regina, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He spent the last 20 years with his love, Renee Welsh. He was preceded in death by his parents.
