All in the family: Local dairy earns national recognition

Farming remains a key part of Terry Ketterling's life. For more than 40 years, he and his family continued a tradition by growing sugar beets in the arid soil of southern Idaho, which eventually brought them to the Mountain Home area.

At the time, those beets were the crop that yielded a profit for the family. Along with those crops, the family farm included a small herd of 30 cows.
