Police: Reported shooting was false

A reported shooting at the local Wal-Mart on Friday turned out to be a false report, according to city police.

Mountain Home Police in conjunction with the Elmore County Sheriff's Office, responded to the store around 9 a.m. that day following reports of a possible shooting that occurred in the parking lot.
