Ann Millet

Ann Reid Millet, 86 of Grand View, Idaho, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016, at a Emmett assisted living center.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the LDS Church in Grand View, Idaho. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Grand View.

Visitation will be held at the Church one hour prior to service time. Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.

Ann was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Ely, Nev. She was the daughter of Hugh and Ada (Hammond) Reid.

She attended school in Ely, Nev., and at the age of 13 moved to Jerome, Idaho, where she finished high school. She married Frank Millet in 1951, and together they worked side by side on their farm, dairy and bee business in Bruneau and Grand View, Idaho.

Together, they served two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ann worked hard and loved life and her family.

She is survived by daughter, Janice (Dale) Reisinger of Emmett; son, Golden (LeAnn) Millet of Caldwell; son, Kenyon (MaryAnn) Millet of Powers Lake, N.D.; son, Curtis (Laree) Millet of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; daughter, Colleen (Terry) Philyaw of Bayminette, Ala.; daughter, Annette Westbrook of Boise; and a foster son, Kevin Freemont of Ogden, Utah. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren with two more on the way.
