Teen earns high school recognition

Recognizing his contributions in the classroom and on the athletic field, a sophomore at Mountain Home High School received recognition through a program aimed at recognizing students for these achievements.

Hunter Thornburg was selected as the school's student of the month, which seeks to create a culture of learning and stresses the values of academic success, civic involvement as well as personal character and values, according to school officials.
