Presidential primaries, caucuses set for March

Local voters, like those shown in this file photo, will head to the polls next month to cast their vote in two presidential primary races. Local Democrats will hold caucuses to determine which of two candidates will receive their vote of support in that race.

With the presidential election still eight months away, voters across Elmore County will participate in a process next month that will determine which of the current candidates will represent their respective political parties in November.

Idaho is one of four states that will hold primary elections and presidential caucuses March 8 to select delegates for their respective parties and comes one week after the Super Tuesday primaries and caucuses.
