Labor department: Idaho tops nation in job growth

The unemployment rate across the state remained unchanged last month while the growth of new non-farm jobs remained the nation's fastest for the third consecutive month, according to a report released Friday by the Idaho Department of Labor.

The state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 3.9 percent in December remained unchanged from the month prior due to a labor force increase of 2,600 workers.
